SRO4 - A Revolutionary New Ticketing System

SRO4 is brand new ticketing software from TopTix Ltd. that is designed to dramatically improve the way that live entertainment tickets are promoted, packaged and sold.

SRO4 has many unique features and they all stem from its revolutionary design and complex system architecture. Unlike most competing products, SRO4 is not built around a transactional or CRM database, it is built around a central communications interface (or API) with all of the core functions acting as isolated services, each with their own separate databases. Because a central API sits at the heart of the system the core functions can be easily and dynamically rearranged, duplicated, modified or replaced during each individual transaction. They can even be replaced by third party products such as CRM, accounting, retail or rival ticketing software.

This architecture is designed to allow all of the functionality within the system to be brought out onto any platform - be it retail, online, mobile or social media, and our clients can expose their live inventory to practically any agency, reseller or distribution channel of their choosing. SRO4 brings a wealth of new features to the event ticketing industry including the concept of “dynamic ticketing” which encompasses not only dynamic pricing but also dynamic promotions, dynamic packages, dynamic discounts, price breaks, commissions, payments, fulfilment etc., because practically every element in SRO4 can be dynamically modified according to demand, yield, availability, customer status, distribution channel, indeed practically any other element, whether housed internally or externally. This may sound very complex to administer, but the whole system is managed via a series of Rules Engines each with its own user-friendly wizard, so that a small series of rules replace hours of set up and mountains of discount codes.

SRO4 is also built for high demand and is astonishingly fast - it can process over 300k ticket sales per hour, via 3k consecutive users, from a basic configuration – and its architecture allows additional servers to be added to double these figures, or to treble them etc..etc...

Other unique features of SRO4 are its adaptability and its in-built audit trail. Almost every element on every screen can be customised locally – so that every user of every client can have the system tailor-made to their needs, as required. This is achieved through a set of tools that we developed to build the system and which we make available to our local partners and to our larger clients. This Software Development Kit includes our XCustomiser tool which allows every single screen to be customised down to a user and process level, and a sophisticated drag-and-drop Test Studio which is used to develop processes, integrate with third party systems, run automated tests and troubleshoot the software. The Test Sudio also records every single process and mouse click including every piece of internal messaging within the system. In practical terms this means the end of lengthy development queues and expensive development requests, and a Support Desk that can identify and resolve most issues before our clients have picked up the phone.

SRO4 has been built to replace our ground-breaking original SRO system which currently serves over 700 sports organisations, performing arts organisations, museums, galleries, ticket agencies and visitor attractions across 16 different territories. The wealth of knowledge and experience we have gained from this extensive client base has been fed into the design and development of SRO4 - which now extends SRO’s remit to include producers/promoters, sports leagues and competitions and regional, national and international entertainment portals.

Most ticketing systems have one or two unique features, but SRO4 is nothing short of revolutionary.
