TopTix Sport announce new ticketing partnership with West Bromwich Albion Football Club
By SuperUser Account 07 Nov 2013
TopTix Sport is pleased to announce a new multi-year agreement with West Bromwich Albion Football Club following the successful launch of the SRO4 Ticketing and Customer Profiling solution ahead of the club’s 2013-2014 Barclays Premier League campaign.
West Bromwich Albion selected TopTix Sport after a detailed review of the market during the early part of 2013. The new partnership was agreed during the summer and SRO4 has been introduced to manage all aspects of the club's ticketing requirements.
Commenting on the agreement, Albion's Head of I.T and Special Projects Phil Everitt said: "We initially planned to review the Ticketing software market as an information gathering exercise to better understand other solutions that may be available to us although we didn't have an immediate plan to change suppliers at an early stage.
"On meeting the team from TopTix earlier this year and undertaking a detailed review of the SRO4 software package we felt that there was a very strong fit for what we wanted to achieve at West Bromwich Albion both now and in the future.
"From a technology perspective SRO4 is very strong and is extremely flexible and user friendly for our staff. After making a decision to implement SRO4 this summer ahead of the 2013-2014 Premier League Season we had a lot to achieve in a short project window and the team at TopTix worked tirelessly to deliver a set of detailed requirements on time with excellent early benefits for the club."
Jo Barr, Head of Ticketing, said: “There is never an easy time to change ticketing solutions with such a busy schedule, but we have been extremely impressed with the way the migration has been handled by the TopTix team over the summer.
"SRO4 has a very strong integration with our access control partner Fortress GB for the turnstile access and we now have an excellent combined ticketing and access solution that is slick and user friendly.
"We have introduced print-at-home ticketing via TopTix which has proved a big success. We had over 750 print-at-home tickets at our recent fixture against Arsenal and this helps manage the match-day queues in the ticket office and is very convenient for the fans buying on-line. Our on-line sales have increased from 30% to 50% for home matches, which is an excellent increase at such an early stage.
"SRO4 is also saving lots of time in the ticket office as the set-up of events is very straightforward. In particular, the cup match set-up process now takes 10 minutes compared to over one day of preparation previously meaning we can get the events on sale earlier and focus on sales".
TopTix Sport's Managing Director Peter Joyce added: "We are delighted to be working in partnership with West Bromwich Albion Football Club. From our first meeting we have established a good understanding with the senior management team and our team have worked hard over the summer and during the early stages of this season to deliver some excellent early benefits. The club have some exciting objectives to increase sales channels and the customer experience and we look forward to working together to deliver the next stages of the rollout over the coming months."
