South Africa's leading performing arts venue moves forward with SRO

The country's acclaimed Joburg Theatre is taking customer management and ticketing services to a new level with SRO. Competition in the South African live entertainment industry has never been greater which has been the motivation for the country's acclaimed Joburg Theatre to take their customer management and ticketing services to a new level with SRO.

TopTix South African distribution partner Smart Fan made SRO a fundamental part of the customer management platform which they have implemented at Joburg Theatre, the country's leading performing arts venue which has welcomed more than three million patrons through its doors since 2000. Aware of the need to continually improve the service they offer to their patrons and to sustain their position as the destination of choice for Johannesburg residents seeking world-class entertainment, Joburg Theatre management undertook a lengthy evaluation process to secure the best solution to meet their goals. Previous commitment to an external service provider as the theatre's ticketing agent was frustrating as they sought to offer ever higher levels of service to their patrons but the solution from Smart Fan, based around SRO as the inhouse and on-line ticketing system, means that the theatre can now offer a wealth of new and improved services to their audiences, including commission-free ticket sales. SRO provides a single open platform which enables the integration of access control, ticketing, membership management, online sales and CRM, and which enables the theatre to provide ever greater levels of service to their patrons.
