The Arkansas Arts Center takes first step towards goal of integrating all operations into a single ticketing system
The Arkansas Arts Center announces that it has signed on with TopTix and SRO, a web delivered software and API-based system for ticketing, CRM and marketing. The goal, in moving to SRO, is to consolidate cross-departmental functions onto one system, including: box office and online ticketing, membership management, marketing and fundraising.
“We selected SRO to help us streamline the onsite and online process for patrons, allowing them to more easily identify and engage with the numerous and ever changing activities and programs offered here at the Arts Center,” said Laine Harber, Deputy Director of Operations/CFO.
The Arkansas Arts Center offers a multitude of exhibitions, children’s theatre performances, workshops, lectures and more than 100 children’s educational classes each quarter. The breadth of offerings supports the Center’s mission to be a dynamic focal point in the community for discovery, creativity and learning through visual and performing arts. But it also presents a highly complex operational challenge.
Initial implementation of SRO in the box office has already made a positive impact. The Arts Center generated data for more than 8,000 patron records from its most recent non-paid exhibition, representing 40 different states from visits to a single exhibit. This kind of visibility into patron activity greatly enhances the staff’s ability to assess patron interest, manage resources, and facilitate strategic planning discussions with tourism and funding partners.
