JAPAN SOCIETY ENHANCES CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT WITH TOPTIX TECHNOLOGY

NEW YORK, NY (October 21, 2016)—Japan Society announced that it has signed on with TopTix and SRO4, its web delivered software and API-based system for ticketing, CRM and marketing.

Japan Society hosts more than 100 events each year that feature sophisticated, topically relevant presentations on Japanese art and culture, set against a stunning backdrop of indoor gardens, a reflecting pool and a waterfall. Facilities include a 262-seat theater, art gallery, language center, library and conference rooms.

As the leading U.S. organization committed to deepening mutual understanding between the United States and Japan in a global context, the customer experience is of paramount importance. Japan Society desired a system that would allow the highest level of customer service and optimize customer access to events. SRO4 was selected for its ability to deliver on three key objectives: flexible ticketing, an easier buying process and an improved online experience.

Japan Society is actively utilizing the rules-based engine in SRO4 to create new levels of member discounts and promote events through the use of coupon packages. The ad-hoc reporting wizard provides deeper customer activity analysis, which in turn has allowed the Society to refine event offerings.

Aside from how SRO4 has enabled Japan Society to achieve customer service goals, Lawrence Kong, Director of Information Technology, has strong praise for the TopTix implementation and support teams. “They were onsite with us during our transition, responsive to issues which arose during the implementation and answering our questions in a timely manner.”
