Ravinia Festival Selects TopTix’s Advanced Ticketing Platform

Ravinia Festival, North America’s oldest music festival, chose TopTix’s advanced ticketing platform, SRO4, to manage its high-volume ticket sales this year.

Every summer, the festival attracts over 600,000 visitors to around 120 events across four venues. Advance tickets to 100 events go on sale on the same day in April and the festival routinely sells thousands of tickets in a matter of hours. This year’s acts included Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga, Santana, Harry Connick Jr., Seth MacFarlane, Little Big Town and Sheryl Crow as well as a variety of classical concerts including the annual summer residency of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.

Ravinia reviewed ticketing platforms in detail for two years before deciding on the SRO4 from TopTix.
